TotalEnergies Marketing Zimbabwe extends donation to Jairos Jiri
TotalEnergies Marketing Zimbabwe Managing Director presented a donation of US$5,200 worth of essential physiotherapy equipment aids to Jairos Jiri Disability School in Harare, during the '42nd Jairos Jiri Day celebrations in rememberance of the late Jairos Jiri, founder of the Jairos Jiri Association, who at his time of death had established 16 centers for the deaf, blind, hostels, homes, vocational training centers, clinics for those living with disabilities' .
This contribution comes as part of our ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility, in support of one of our four pillars, youth and education and a belief in creating an inclusive society for all, enhancing the lives of those who face physical challenges, ensuring they are empowered with the tools and support they need to thrive.
The importance of physiotherapy in the lives of individuals with disabilities cannot be overstated. It is a vital component of the rehabilitation process, offering students the opportunity to increase their mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. With these new tools and resources, we hope to enable the students here to reach their full potential — to move with confidence, to overcome physical limitations, and to lead more fulfilling lives.
As, TotalEnergies Marketing Zimbabwe we understand that education is not just about academic learning, but about providing opportunities, fostering resilience, and supporting personal growth. By investing in these specialized physiotherapy tools, we aim to enhance the work that the dedicated staff at Jairos Jiri are already doing — to make their jobs easier, and most importantly, to help these incredible young individuals continue on their path toward a brighter future.
It is our hope that this donation will further enrich the transformative work taking place within these walls, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the students' health, well-being, and sense of empowerment.
